R P Byrom & Son is located close to the centre of Barnstaple, on Rolle Street. The office opened 2018 as we were finding ourselves serving more and more families from Barnstaple and it is important for us to be based within the community we serve and support.

There is dedicated customer parking at our office, 

just turn into Mill Road and you'll see our parking at the back of the office.

Roger Byrom and his son Chris Byrom who run the funeral directors have a longstanding relationship with Barnstaple and the wider North Devon area, and Chris has been a resident of Barnstaple since 2014 and has got stuck into community life. We have many years experience as funeral directors, Roger worked for the co-op before taking over ownership of our sister homes,

L Clarke & Sons and Dafforn & Son, in 2010. And Chris joined the family business shortly after this and became a full time member of the team in 2012. We are proud to be a local family owned funeral directors, 

with our roots set in this community.
